I exited V for a profit and entered an event play on FXE in connection with the French presidential election on Friday.

I have an open order to exit DAL but it has not been filled and appears unlikely to be filled today.

4/22 – 11:55 a.m. New York time

I have entered a position on FXE as a vehicle for an event play on Saturday’s presidential election in France.

4/22 – 10:50 a.m. New York time

I’ve removed from today’s agenda as a potential earnings play. There is some ambiguity about when earnings will be released — NASDAQ says April 24 before the opening bell but labels it an estimate; TDAmeritrade puts it at May 2 before the opening bell, without stating a caveat.

Assuming the April 24 release, I would use the weekly options expiring April 28, and COH’s grid for that series lacks sufficient liquidity to support a trade.. So, no COH.

I have exited my position on V for a profit and shall update the analysis shortly.

I am attempting to exit DAL at my target but have yet to get a fill.

4/21 – 8:15 p.m. New York time

I have one prospect on my desk for Friday, an earnings play on COH. Having said that, the options grid that meets my criteria is somewhat less liquid than I like. I shall post an analysis tomorrow and on that basis make a trading decision.
