6/27 3:20 p.m. New York time

I entered two new positions, PAYX and XOP, exited my position on DRI and rolled FB to a later expiration.

I analyzed GIS but declined to take the trade.

I am attempting to exit KRE but the order has yet to be filled. I shall leave it active until the closing bell.

6/27 – 1:25 p.m. New York time

Exited DRI.

6/27 – 9:55 a.m. New York time

GIS and PAYX continue to qualify as potential trades today and so are on my agenda.

I am attempting to exit DRI at my target price; the order has yet to be filled.

I have rolled FB forward to a July 21 expiration.

KBH, which was listed in my earnings calendar source material as publishing before the opening bell today, in fact publishes after the closing bell. The stock is trading near where it was at entry, so no harm, no foul.

6/26 – 8:15 p.m. New York time

I’m looking at two potential earnings plays as prospects for Tuesday: GIS and PAYX.

Among potential non-directional trades unrelated to earnings, I shall be looking at the petroleum/energy sector ETFs — XOP, OIH and XLE — which has stabilized somewhat after an impressive plunge. I shall also consider three high implied volatility stocks: AAPL, COST and NFLX. (NFLX is too close to earnings for consideration as a directional play; I shall wait.)
