7/5 – 3:25 p.m. New York time

I entered positions on all of the symbols on this morning’s agenda: YUMC, XBI and XRT. I exited no positions.

7/5 – 9:40 a.m. New York time

My three prospects — an earnings play on YUMC and direction-neutral position on XBI and XRT — remain on my agenda as they continue to have sufficiently high implied volatility to qualify for trading, and I shall analyze them today.

7/3 – 3:20 p.m. New York time

U.S. markets return to normal trading hours today after the Independence Day holiday.

I have one earnings play on my desk for Wednesday, YUMC. Two exchange-traded funds have sufficiently high implied volatility compared to their most recent and annual ranges to qualify as prospects: XBI and XRT.
