8/8 – 3:25 a.m. New York time

The outcomes are unchanged from my mid-session post: Three new positions, HTZ, FOSL and TRIP, and one exit, THC.

8/8 – 1:30 p.m. New York time

I’ve updated the THC analysis with results.

8/8 – 11:15 a.m. New York time

I have entered positions on HTZ, FOSL and TRIP. Those three trades have committed the margin for my accounts. In order to fit TRIP in, I exited THC below my target; although low in percentage terms, it met my minimum coal for dollar return. I shall update THC‘s analysis with results later in the session.

That leaves DIS unanalyzed. Looking ahead to Wednesday and Thursday, the prospects on those days have higher implied volatility than DIS provides, and I shall strike DIS from the agenda in favor of at least one of those.

8/8 – 9:40 a.m. New York time

I’m adding FOSL to my list of potential earnings plays for consideration today. The other three are DIS, HTZ and TRIP.

I’ve placed exit orders at my target, 25% of maximum potential profit, on three positions: CAR, CBS and THC. None have been filled yet.

8/7 – 10:30 p.m. New York time

I shall consider three earnings plays on Tuesday: DIS, HTZ and TRIP.
