I have entered a position on BABA.
11/1 – 2:35 p.m. New York time
I have decided to pass on QCOM. A news report on Monday was followed by a large decline in price that has been partially retraced today. In any case, the trading at present appears to be largely driven by already published news, and that’s a situation I try to avoid. So I shall be analyzing one prospect: BABA.
11/1 – 1:10 p.m. New York time
I have updated the analyses for GRMN and X with results. I need today’s closing price to analyze how the estimates and post-earnings movements metrics, and I shall update with that portion of results analysis after the closing bell.
11/1 – 9:45 a.m. New York time
10/31 – 8:05 p.m. New York time
I have two prospects for action on Wednesday, both earnings plays. I’m considering a bull position on BABA and a non-directional position on QCOM. The bid/ask spread on QCOM is currently a bit wider than I like and will bear rechecking on Wednesday.
