11/3 – 6:50 p.m. New York time

ATVI updated with session close analysis.

11/3 – 3:20 p.m. New York time

I analyzed CVS as a potential earnings play but passed on it., exited ATVI for a profit, and entered share positions keyed to earnings on WLK, LGIH and CORE.

11/3  2:35 p.m. New York time

I have posted an explainer of a new approach I’m beginning to use: “Earnings plays using shares“.

11/3 – 1:40 p.m. New York time

The bid/ask spread on a CVS iron fly options position has narrowed, and I plan a f ull analysis shortly.

11/3 – 10:15 a.m. New York time

I have updated the ATVI analysis with results.

11/3 – 9:45 a.m. New York time

The bid/ask spread of today’s prospect, CVS, has widened, and if it fails to narrow,  I shall do no further analysis. I’ll keep an eye on it and make a decision later in the day.

I have exited ATVI for a profit.

11/2 – 9:30 p.m. New York time

I have one prospect for Friday, a non-directional earnings play on CVS.
