12/15 – 2:45 p.m. New York time

In today’s outcomes, I exited four earnings plays, three based on options — COST, JBL and ORCL — and one on COST using shares. All analyses have been updated with results. I entered no new positions.

12/15 – 12:35 p.m. New York time

In today’s agenda, I have exited option positions on COST and JBL for profits, and ORCL for a loss. Unreported on Thursday, I also bought a shares position on COST, which I exited for a profit.

I shall update analyses with results before the closing bell.

LEN remains beyond my standards, and I plan no further consideration of the symbol.

12/14 – 7:45 p.m. New York time

I have one potential shares trade I have been looking at for action on Friday. However, the symbol, LEN, has metrics that won’t work for such a purpose: A bearish Zacks rank and a negative earnings surprise predictor (ESP). Shares trades for my purposes must be long, and that means both the rank and the ESP must be positive.

I shall monitor LEN on Friday and move it forward for analysis if the metrics approve.

Also on Friday, I shall be looking to exit three earnings places using shares: COST, JBL and ORCL.
