1/24 – 3:25 p.m. New York time
I analyzed ANTM in part but once I calculated the wide bid/ask spread, I declined the trade without a full analysis.
I posted my pools of options (nine symbols) and shares (23 symbols) earnings plays that I shall be analyzing from for the next week
1/24 – 3:20 p.m. New York time
I entered earnings plays using shares on EGN and MTW.
1/24 – 3 p.m. New York time
1/24 – 2 p.m. New York time
I’m declining ANTM as a bull put spread. The bid/ask spread is huge, as in above 50%.
1/24 – 12:35 p.m. New York time
I’ve done the preliminary analysis for earnings plays on stocks having acton days the week of Feb. 5-9. I shall be pulling from the pool for the next week.
I limited myself to directional options plays for this first run, both bull and bear:
And as always, the shares plays are limited to stocks with bullish metrics.
The “am” in the meridian column means the earnings announcement will come before the opening bell’ the “pm”, after the closing bell; and the “xm” means I don’t yet know the time of day.
1/24 – 12:10 p.m. New York time
I have updated my analytics for companies publishing earnings the week beginning Jan. 29 and have one prospect for further analysis today: ANTM, using options.
I did the preliminary set-up last night for companies announcing the week beginning Feb. 5 and, after some additional analysis, shall post a list of prospects.
1/23 – 4:40 p.m. New York time
I have no prospects for Wednesday. I shall monitor my watchlist of earnings announcements the week of Jan. 29 through Feb. 2 and give them priority if changes in metrics allows them to qualify for further analysis.
If nothing develops from that data set, i shall turn my attention to obtaining earnings data and metrics for the week of Feb. 5 through Feb. 9.
