3/31 – 3:00 p.m. New York time
My work for the day, and for the week, is done. I exited one position, SPY, and entered none.
Enjoy the weekend.
3/31 – 2:11 p.m. New York time
I have posted the update on SPY, with results and an extended discussion of why I decided to exit for less than my target profit.
3/31 – 1:35 p.m. New York time
I have exited my iron fly position on SPY for a less than optimal profit and shall update the analysis with results before the closing bell.
3/31 – 10:50 a.m. New York time
No new positions are in sight today; I anticipate no analysis.
Eight positions are within three weeks of expiration, signaling the period when I need to make serious decisions about managing the losers. That doesn’t mean immediate exit. It does mean some serious chart work on trends, using Elliott wave analysis, to understand whether I can reasonably expect the positions to become profitable.
Of the eight, GME and SPY are profitable, as is the remnant of my TGT positions that was broken apart by an assignment. ORCL, SNAP and TJX are slightly unprofitable but are within easy reach of profitability. LOW and MU have a larger gap between their present prices and profitability, and those two are where my immediate decisions will focus.
