6/13 – 3:40 p.m. New York time

I entered three direction-neutral positions: AAPL, FB and QQQ. I exited THO.

6/13 – 3:15 p.m. New York time

I have exited THO for a loss and shall update the analysis with results shortly.

6/13 – 9:55 a.m. New York time

Two major tech stocks, FB and AAPL, the tech sector exchange-traded fund XLK and the fund tracking the tech-heavy (as the cliche goes) NASDAQ 100, QQQ, have seen their implied volatility begin to decline from a relatively high level within their current trends. I shall consider them for trades today.

I have an exit order on THO that has not yet been filled.

6/12 – 9 p.m. New York time

There are no earnings announcements that qualify for trading on Tuesday; the one with sufficient liquidity, HRB, lacks sufficient open interest a the strike prices I would need to set up a trade.

I shall look at high liquidity, high relative volatility stocks and funds to see if I can spot a reasonable trade.

THO, which expires on Friday, has yet to be exited. It shall leave the stage on Tuesday, whether for a profit or loss I cannot say.
