12/11 – 3:10 p.m. New York time
As it turns out RMR is unsupported by Robinhood, the no-fee brokerage I use for earnings plays using shares. No, no trade, and that means no outcomes today.
12/11 – 9:40 a.m. New York time
Of the two prospects on my desk this morning, RMR remains on my agenda for trading.
The Zacks earnings surprise predictor has moved to forecasting a significant negative earnings surprise (ESP); my share-based trades through the brokerage Robinhood will only handle bull positions.
A third symbol, IRET, had been bumped off the prospects list already, and off it remains, both for a negative ESP and downward pointing trend metrics.
Since the ESP is upated once daily, overnight, CASY and IRET won’t be returned to the prospects list, and I shall consider only RMR.
12/10 – 10 a.m. New York time
I shall be considering two prospective earnings plays using shares on Monday: CASY and RMR.
A third symbol, IRET, has poor trend metrics and a negative earnings surprise forecast. These are volatile attributes, and I shall check how they do after the opening bell.
