I entered no new positions today and exited none.

Five symbols qualify for consideration as candidates for bear plays in the weeks running up to earnings, based on expectations of a negative earnings surprise, low longer-term expectations by analysts and a current downtrend. They are HAS, PS, RRC, OLN and VRTX.
However, all five have bid/ask spreads of greater than 12% on their at-the-money call options. That’s higher than I like, so I’m setting them all aside with no further study.
At this point I also have no exits for current positions in sight.
