3/16 – 3:20 p.m. New York time

I entered two positions today, DVN and MLNX, and exited none.

3/16 – 2:45 p.m. New York time

I have entered a bull position on MLNX using shares as the vehicle for the trade. This is a counter-trend position in the context of the broader markets, a break with my usual practice.

3/16 – 11:10 a.m. New York time

I have entered a position on DVN.

3/16 – 10:05 a.m. New York time

I am looking at a prospective trade drawn from a pool 10 symbols: SQ, APA, DVN, COG, NOV, HFC, HAL, VLO, NEM and PSX. I shall look first at DVN, which seems to have the best balance of liquidity, implied volatility and negative earnings expectation, and if DVN fails the full analysis, then I shall pull another symbol for a deeper look.

I don’t anticipate any exits from my holdings as of the opening bell.
