3/21 – 3:15 p.m. New York time
I entered no new positions today and exited none.
3/21 – 2:25 p.m. New York time
I screened 16 stocks with positive earnings expectations and corresponding metrics as potential bull plays using shares. I don’t like the charts on any of them. Most are engaged in counter-trend rallies within larger downtrends, and I prefer to trade with the major trend. A few appear to be engaged in peaking activity, often a prelude to a decline. No shares trades today.
3/21 – 2:15 p.m. New York time
I’m rejecting WFT without further analysis because it’s price, at $2.46 per share, is too low for options trading by my standards.
LL has an even wider bid/ask spread than yesterday and so is disqualified.
3/21 – 11:25 a.m. New York time
WFT and LL are the potential options plays of greatest interest out of a pool of seven symbols meeting my basic requirements. I shall look at both and perhaps choose one for a full analysis today.
