6/21 – 3 p.m. New York time

Today’s outcomes: I have entered four new positions: ACN, CCL,  HAIN and ORCL. I exited two, both profitably: ADBE and FDX.

6/21 – 1:15 p.m. New York time

I have exited ADBE for a profit and shall update the analysis shortly with results.

6/21 – 9:50 a.m. New York time

Today’s agenda: I am likely to enter new positions on HAIN and ORCL, and will analyze and may traded ACN and CCL. All four are earnings plays. I have exited FDX for a profit and shall update the analysis with results shortly.

Rather than trade any of the non-directional prospects — FB, XOP and KRE — I shall bide my time, preserving funds for opportunities coinciding with earnings announcements.

6/20 – 7:45 p.m. New York time

I shall be looking at four earnings plays on Wednesday. HAIN and ORCL are quite liquid. ACN and CCL have less liquid options grids, but I shall try to make them work.

I also have three symbols with high implied volatility as candidates for non-directional positions: FB, XOP and, marginally, KRE.
